Day 85
The boys woke up very early because Joel had a scuba dive arranged on long beach and Jay was flying to Vietnam to do a visa run. They offered Victoria and I to go along too and spend the day on Long Beach with all the backpackers.
Victoria and I decided to stay because it was the first day of beautiful weather and I wanted a proper sunbathe. I went for a lovely walk along the beach just as the sun was coming up and hitting the water making it an amazing turquoise colour.

Then at around 10am the boat loads of tourists and snorkel groups started arriving, so I retreated back to camp where I could sunbathe in peace.
It was a lovely relaxing day and it put me in the best mood.
Joel came back around mid afternoon with Ramona (who was replacing Jay). I LOVED Ramona so was very happy to see her and we had a good old giggle and catch up. As we were sat around the picnic table having a natter we noticed a rather ominous dark cloud rolling in. Another big storm.
There was a lot of thunder and lightning and it was amazing to watch from the steps of one of the sheds.
Again, the wind made cooking on our camp stove rather challenging so it was instant noodles again for dinner. With egg of course.
We watched some breaking bad on Jo-el’s laptop and waited for the storm to pass.
Another uneventful evening in terms of turtles (a distinct lack of them).
