sleepy days

Day 84
I slept on the floor of the wooden shed again and even though I woke up a fair few times throughout the morning, I kept managing to get back to sleep. Lovely jubbly.

Until Joel came and woke me up for no apparent reason – Not. Cool.

I was appreciating Jo-el less and less; he was the type to push you into the water or wake you up when you were having a lovely sleep and all sorts of other inconsiderate things that any kind, respectabe human being just wouldn’t do.

I was in a bad mood all day (hate being woken up for no reason) and so ignored him. I read my book in a hammock all morning

and a few hours later he came over to, what I thought was, apologise; but was actually a cover up to come and harass me to go swimming with him. PAH. Fat chance buddy.

Had a lovely snooze in the afternoon and sat and chatted with Jay and Victoria. I cooked pasta and tomato sauce for dinner (I put a rogue egg in ((I was thinking along the lines of carbonara)) to try and make it a little creamier) and it actually worked a treat. Having pasta two nights in a row was an absolute luxury.

Turtle patrols were distinctly uneventful that evening as apparently all the turtles had taken the night off, which was just fine with me.
