Day 81
I woke up earlier due to getting to go to sleep at 3am instead of 6am. I got up and had apple and peanut butter – a new fave of mine. I pottered around camp for a while and decided to read my book in a hammock on the beach.

When lunchtime came around, we all got in a boat and went over to Long Beach (the most touristy, backpacker beach of the Perhenthians) for lunch.
We went to a questionable looking restaurant and I had the worst Ceasar salad of my life. I mean who puts red cabbage in a Caesar?! Most irregular.
We had a nice stroll along the beach and I found another white magnum. Where were all these magnums for the rest of my travels?!

It began raining a little so we got the boat back to our little deserted beach. The boat ride was very windy and very wavy and we all got soaked. We only just made it back to our beach and when we did we found a group of very fiesty French people sat in our camp. They demanded we call their hotel for them, but they didn’t know the number. I don’t know who they thought we were but we told them to pipe down and get off of our picnic table. A boat eventually came to pick them up (thank god) and just in time before the weather conditions got even worse. We watched as a full on storm rolled in, it was all rather reminiscent of James and the Giant Peach (yes, the storm was THAT big).
By this time it was time for us to start thinking about dinner, but the wind kept blowing our camp stove out. We eventually managed to boil some water and so we all had instant noodles for dinner (a delicious brand called Maggi mi with an egg in it – it’s sounds disgusting but it was amazing).
I’d hoped we might get out of turtle patrol what with the treacherous weather conditions with no such luck. That night there weren’t any turtle so we all got a half decent amount of sleep.
